About Haringey City Growth
Haringey City Growth (HCG), a business-led economic development initiative, aims to increase the prosperity and growth of the Borough's businesses by providing businesses more influence over the regeneration of the Borough and by leveraging the comparative advantages of the local economy.
Main Objectives:
- Promote Haringey as a business location
- Support Business Clusters
- Provide a voice for Haringey's business community
- Maximise opportunities for Haringey businesses
One of the main functions of HCG has been the establishment and development of business clusters in order to promote a synergetic approach to the way businesses tackle common challenges in Haringey, improving their competitive advantage.
Five clusters were set up reflecting the strongest employment sectors in the Borough:
- Creative Industries
- Sports, Leisure and Tourism
- Food and Drink - production and distribution
- Business Services
- Retail
We are run by North London Business and are funded and supported by the London Development Agency, European Regional Development Fund and Haringey Council
